The company started operation as early as 1900. During that time the manufacturing confectionaries was started in Lahore, Pakistan by the great grandfather Late sardar Mohan Singh Johar of the present entrepreneur. Then after the partition all the business activities commissioned at Dehradun in Uttrakhand from the scrap with all the expertise in 1947 by the father of the present entrepreneur Shri Sardar Harvinder Singh Johar.
A new factory was established at the industrial area in Saharanpur (U.P.) with the intention of modernizing and imparting super technology to the products manufactured. A new brand name SIMPA and ROGER was created. The company is ISO and FSSAI certified. The company is very conscious of its products and hence established a high quality control mechanism. In addition to this the company R&D is constantly developing new product lines every year. The morden infrastructure setup includes varied specific wings such as processing, packaging, Quality checking and with latest strong systems.
